Day 8 – 9/19 Revise In-Class Essay

  1. Revise In-Class essay 1 & Start Writing Plan – No AI.
    • Open Writing Plan Assignment for Notes/Organization
    • Review/Learn The 5 Principles of Good Writing
    • Open Essay 1 (Classroom); Copy comments to Google Doc; Choose 3 recommendations you understand.
    • Revise the essay for a higher grade.
  2. HW: Study www.vocabulary.com & ACT English

Day 9 – 9/20 – Short Period – Homecoming.

  1. Murf.ai and introduction.
  2. If done, listen to partner’s essay; leave an insightful, positive comment. If not done, finish your project.
  3. If done, self Evaluate your “I Believe” according to the rubric below. If not, finish your project.
    1. Award yourself the appropriate 1-4 score in each of five categories (speaking worth double) add them, divide by 6, that’s your composite score.
  4. Listen to any other audio essays you choose; leave an insightful, positive comment.
  5. HW: If not finished, complete your project and share your file on your home page.
